Be your own boss: Entrepreneurship and the EU

This is especially true in EU Member States that have been most affected by the economic crisis and where traditional jobs are in short supply. A new business may create jobs for others, lead to new skills, and may even give unemployed and vulnerable people a chance to contribute to society and the economy. Commissioner Thyssen represented the EU at the G20 Labour and Employment Ministers` Meeting

Labour and employment ministers of G20 economies have met in Bad Neuenahr on 18-19 May to draw up recommendations for making labour markets future-proof, productive and fair. The EU was represented by Commissioner Marianne Thyssen.
