Consultation on a proposed new generic textile fibre name: polyacrylate

The European Commission is holding this public consultation to seek views from all interested parties on establishing a new generic textile fibre name of polyacrylate.

The results of this public consultation will feed into the Commission’s assessment of the application and, possibly, the adoption of a Delegated Act amending the relevant Annexes of Regulation (EU) No. 1007/2011.

How to submit your contribution

Contributions are made via the online questionnaire. If possible, to reduce translation and processing time, please reply in one of the Commission’s working languages (preferably in English). Contributions may be published on the internet with your name, unless in your response you ask not to.

In the interests of transparency, the Commission asks organisations who wish to submit comments in the context of public consultations to provide the Commission and the public at large with information about whom and what they represent by registering in the Transparency Register and subscribing to its Code of Conduct.

If an organisation decides not to provide this information, it is the Commission's stated policy to list the contribution as part of the individual contributions (Consultation Standards, see COM (2002) 704, and Communication on ETI Follow-up, see COM (2007) 127 of 21 March 2007).
