Call for tenders: Organisation of European Social Innovation Competition 2018-2020

The European Commission's been organising the European Social Innovation Competition since late 2012.

We've issued a call for tenders to recruit a contractor. This contractor will assist in the organisation of 3 more editions of the European Social Innovation Competition (2018-2019-2020). The work is subject to annual contract renewal.

The contractor will have to:

1. ensure sound design, organisation and management of the Competition

2. design and deliver relevant support to selected contestants

3. communicate to reach out and get valuable Competition entries

4. organise landmark events

Background The competition's main purpose is to:

• source and support innovative solutions to societal challenges every year with prize, mentoring and networking opportunities.
• raise awareness about social innovation through media, stories, impact measurement.
• stimulate investment into social innovation from private and public entities.
• showcase the potential of social innovation to innovate policy-making itself at all political levels, including the EU level.
