Conference: Which policies stimulate demand for innovation in times of budgetary consolidation?

05 August 2015

(From ec.europa.eu)

Ten years ago, the Aho report put innovation-friendly markets at the centre of policies for an innovative Europe. Where are we now? Are Aho's report recommendations still relevant for the Juncker Commission? What could be the big things that the European Union could do to deliver concrete results in the next four years?

Don’t miss out on the conference for an innovation demand-side monitoring system. The event will offer the opportunity to get the outcomes of the study on demand-side innovation based on scientific results and analysis. Conference attendees will come away with informed outlooks on future innovation policies in the light of the evidence and the context of the current policy orientation in the EU.

The Public Procurement of Innovation Award in recognition of successful innovation procurement practices will also be celebrated.

This event is for you if you are :

  • a regional or national government body from an EU country in charge of innovation, SMEs, economic development, public procurement or any activity related to demand-side innovation;.
  • an SME or large enterprise;.
  • a business organisation;.
  • a journalist.

If you want to pick up strategic guidelines and input on demand-side innovation, put Tuesday 17 November in your agenda for the conference in Brussels.

A programme and practical information to register online will follow in early September via an email invitation.

Invitations will be limited to the first 250 people registered.
