Enhancing the participation of women entrepreneurs in the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument

16 December 2016

(From ec.europa.eu)

The objectives of this pilot project are to raise awareness among women entrepreneurs of the Horizon2020 SME Instrument, to provide them with information and advice, and help them to better prepare for successful participation.

The action is addressed to Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) partners in the EU that have been awarded a Framework Partnership Agreement for the period 2015-2020.

The services shall be provided based on the needs of the women entrepreneurs.  Participating Network organisations will need to link-up with local and regional stakeholders, their own host organisations and other EU or national initiatives supporting women entrepreneurship to effectively identify and support these women entrepreneurs.

As part of the action, they will identify and assess those innovative women entrepreneurs with the potential to successfully participate in the SME Instrument and guide them through the process. Participating EEN organisations shall also take the opportunity to promote EEN services in general to the target group.

The Electronic submission system will be available from 5/1/2017.

This call closes on 6 April 2017 at 17:00 (Brussels time).
