Reforms of public health systems – insights from behavioural economics

Increasing expenses for health services cause significant burden to public and private households in EU and E&IA countries.

In collaboration with DG SANTE, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) organises this workshop to bring together representatives from academia, NGOs and public administration to discuss the advantages of the different systems, taking into account recent insights from behavioural economics. This workshop will provide a platform for mutual learning between excellent academics and national authorities from EU and E&IA (Enlargement & Integration action) countries.
