The study provides a complete, up-to-date and concise overview of the competitiveness of the European primary and secondary Mineral Raw Materials Sectors (MRMS). It focuses mainly on the non-energy extractive industries (NEEI) and the related recycling industries (RI).

For a strategic outlook, the study provides a SWOT analysis of the MRMS broken down by the NEEI and RI.

Additionally, it suggests initiatives addressing the key weaknesses and threats to competitiveness of the European primary and secondary Mineral Raw Materials Sectors.
