Workshop with the space industry on access to finance

The European Commission is organising a "Workshop with the Space Industry on Access to Finance: European Fund for Strategic Investments, COSME and Horizon 2020" on 24 November 2015. It will take place in the DG GROW Auditorium, Breydel Building (Avenue d'Auderghem 45, Brussels).
The workshop provides an opportunity for both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and bigger companies to learn about practical ways and tools to participate in the European Investment Plan. Participation in the workshop is free and open, but interested participants are encouraged to register.
Background
Since the start of the global economic and financial crisis, Europe has been suffering from low levels of investment. Collective and coordinated efforts at European level are needed to reverse this downward trend and to put the EU on the path of economic recovery.
The €315 billion European Investment Plan is an important tool to speed up economic growth and job creation in Europe. The European Fund for Strategic Investment (EFSI) has huge potential to contribute to the modernisation of European industry but its success depends on industrial participation.
