Atlantic stakeholder platform conference

As part of the implementation of the Atlantic action plan, the European Commission invites stakeholders to share their practical knowledge and ideas at the Atlantic stakeholder platform conference. The stakeholder platform is an annual event and the central hub for stakeholders of the Atlantic strategy to meet, greet, seek ways of cooperation, share information and secure funding.

The 2nd Atlantic stakeholder platform conference, to be held on 29 October 2015 in Brest, will bring relevant stakeholders together and through eight stakeholder-led workshops and matchmaking activities will enable the identification of suitable cooperation opportunities.

The eight workshops will focus on topics related to priority 2 of the Atlantic action plan, notably in the areas of: 

  • maritime safety and security;.
  • climate change;.
  • sustainable management of marine resources; and.
  • the exploitation of renewable energy potential of the Atlantic area’s marine and coastal environment.  .
