Workshop on the first year of the European Professional Card and the 'Alert Mechanism'

The European Commission is holding a workshop to reflect on the experiences of the first year of operation of the European Professional Card (EPC) and the accompanying 'Alert Mechanism'.

The Commission launched a public survey on 17 March to gather views on first experiences of both initiatives.

This workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss the results of the survey, and the difficulties and advantages of the procedures.

Professional organisations representing any of the 5 EPC professions and public authorities involved in the national implementation of the 2 initiatives are invited to participate.

The EPC is currently available to general care nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, real estate agents and mountain guides.
