We're delighted to invite you to the Awards Ceremony of the 2017 European Social Innovation Competition. It takes place at 14:00 on 26 October 2017 at the Albert Hall in Brussels. You can register for your ticket now!
The 2017 European Social Innovation Competition, Equality Rebooted, aims to make technological change and digital transformation more inclusive to ensure everyone equally benefits.
The awards ceremony will start with an opening keynote from Charlotte de Vilmorin of Wheeliz, a winner of the 2015 Competition. Our 10 finalists will pitch their solutions to equip all members of society with the appropriate skills and opportunities they need to be able to compete in a changing economy.
We'll follow this with a debate on inequality and the role that technology and social innovation have to play. We'll hear from experts including Mara Balestrini, Ideas for Change, Märtha Rehnberg, DareDisrupt and Daan Weddepohl, Peerby.
For the grand finale, European Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska will award this year's 3 winners with prizes of €50,000 each.
We will also announce the winner of the Impact Prize, awarded to the semifinalist from the 2016 Competition who has gone on to achieve the greatest impact.

We hope to see you there!
