Youth Guarantee five years on: Lessons learnt

(From ec.europa.eu ) The latest Eurostat figures show that the youth unemployment rate dropped from 18.7% in 2016 to 16.8% by the end of 2017. Since peaking at 23.9% following the 2008 financial crisis, youth unemployment has now fallen to just over 1 percentage point above the pre-2008 rate (15.1%), which shows the positive progress that has been made in this area over the last five years.
