The conference will present the results of the awareness campaign and the steps ahead of the EU initiative on the Smart use of ICT and the integration of SMEs in global industrial value chains.

There will be an interactive panel session with global players in ICT and cloud computing. The experiences gathered from a Commission initiative to find the best experimental solutions based on cost benefit and value for money perspectives will be shared. The knowledge gathered in five strategic sectors (automotive, textile and fashion, agro-food, tourism, and construction) will be presented.
