eSkills for Jobs 2016

02 March 2016

(From ec.europa.eu)

Join us on March 16 in The Hague to discuss the key actions needed to develop the digital and Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) skills required to fuel the economy, jobs and growth in Europe.

New disruptive business models, empowered by these technologies, are drivers of the so-called 'fourth industrial revolution'. To allow companies to fully grasp the available opportunities there is a need for Europe to develop new high-level skills and increase its talent pool to be able to compete in the future.

The development of digital and KETs skills in Europe is a multi-faceted challenge that requires a comprehensive solution. Action is required at every level.

There is a need to join forces and apply a well-coordinated approach, thereby enabling Europe to fully benefit from the opportunities offered by these technologies for decades to come. We hope that you will be able to join us in this endeavour and to participate at the conference.

This high level conference is being organised in response to the mismatch between demand and supply of digital technology experts in Europe. The eSkills for Job Conference 2016 will help Europe address this mismatch.
