EU-China days at EXPO Milano 2015

As part of EXPO Milano 2015, the EU-China days will take place on 9 and 10 June.

These days will have the same format as the Missions for Growth conducted by this Directorate-General over the past years. They will include:

  • A first session on the morning of 9 June where high-level policymakers will underline the benefits of EU-China economic cooperation;.
  • A second session where the European Commission and other international authorities and business organisations will present business opportunities in the EU and China;.
  • Business-to-business meetings (B2B) between entrepreneurs from the EU and China which will take place in the morning on 9 and 10 June. The industrial sectors targeted for these meetings include agro-food manufacturing, creative sectors, cultural heritage and local traditional food, space applications for agriculture and environmental management, health biotechnologies, and food and wine tourism. All these sectors relate to the themes of the Expo.

A visit to the exhibition is foreseen for participants on 8 June.

Companies operating in the above-mentioned sectors who are interested in participating in the EU-China days, including the B2B meetings, can register online.

The companies selected will have to cover their own expenses.

EXPO Milano is taking place from 1 May to 31 October with the central theme of 'Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life'.
