Sustainable management and accessible tourism: Awards ceremony

The European tourism indicators system (ETIS) is a comprehensive and simple tool to help destinations measure and monitor their sustainable management performance and enhance their sustainability.
It was developed by the European Commission because tourist destinations are increasingly being called upon to tackle social, cultural, economic, and environmental challenges.
The awards will look at results based on social, economic, environmental and cultural criteria. Accessibility will also be a criteria for success.
70 senior and youth tourism stakeholders are expected to participate.
