Innovation starts in the workplace - EUWIN conference
(From ec.europa.eu)
Innovation is a complex process. And during these times of digital revolution, the human factor is often overlooked. The European Workplace Innovation Network (EUWIN) conference on 10 October will give you a unique occasion to discover fascinating stories about companies who are champions in fully utilising the potential of their employees.
During the event, you’ll be able to meet our business inspirations and hear from world best practices like Finnish company VINCIT, the Best Workplace in Europe 2016. We’ll host 3 TED-style talks on the future of work and have a direct discussion between the policy makers on how to improve the environment for innovative companies in Europe. And of course, we’ll give you a chance to share your views on what needs to change in Europe for workplace innovation to succeed.
Success in the new industrial revolution requires that the European industry uses the best available technologies. But technologies by themselves are not the answer. We should put more focus on the human factor. It’s Europe’s main resource and we don’t use it enough. Workplace innovation supports innovation capacities, but also allows business to remain innovative by adapting to changes more quickly and smoothly.
This is why the European Commission launched EUWIN as a part of the wider industrial strategy. What have we achieved in last 4 years? And what challenges remain, especially in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution? For answers to these questions and more you are invited to join us during the conference.
We started EUWIN in hopes of creating a mass movement. Now we have this mass movement. Come and be part of the celebration in Brussels!
